Code: Category Start Today Lowest ToDo 1.8 6.0 (The lowest range still over 1999) Highest ToDo 86.3 25.3 (The highest remaining for this project ... all higher will be done via standard Prime95 protocols) Low UnDone 86.4 108.3 (The lowest still over 1999 that Prime95 will eventually clear on its own) High UnDone 999.8 999.8 (The highest remaining for Prime95) Current Activities I have some of my P1 firepower and 2 helpers finishing the 2xM range in the next month or so. Some of my team has moved into the 1xM ranges.....several of you are helping there too either with TF or P-1. And the help keeps increasing WOOT WOOT Many of you are also P1'ing and TF'ing under 10Million Where is the help most required? We are almost there; I suspect we'll be down to table scraps by April. With all the attention this project is getting now I think most of you know exactly where we are at and are helping appropriately....thanks a lot. Reminder: Post #1 contains a chart of reserved ranges. I will be away until the end of March. I will have limited access to this forum so updates could be sparse ... sorry. My computers are loaded (and hopefully keep alive). Thanks!!! THANKS!!!!!! Last fiddled with by petrw1 on 2022-01-18 at 15:51 Reason: 108.3

Lowest undone by Prime95 is 108.3M (not 108.2M), and still 27 factors to go.
(again, feel free to delete it once corrected)

It seems like no recent activity on 8.2M and no reservations noted here as well. If so, I want to take this up for my next range.

If anyone has any objection, it would be kind of you to let me know ASAP (preferably within next 24 hour or so, which is when I'll begin the crunching).

I am planning to do B1 bounds appropriate for the upcoming project.

So, (20.0/8.2) * 1M * sqrt(24GB/56GB) = 1.6M. Won't do any cherrypicking, just go from top to bottom till the range is done.

I don't have access to my spreadsheet from here. My guess is 800k would do it. axn knows what he's talking about. Do you have at least 8GB RAM, or more?

2022-01-22, 23:24 #1155 firejuggler     "Vincent" Apr 2010 Over the rainbow 54328 Posts I can use 10GB. TF to 73, B1*222, wich give a 5.91% chance of finding a factor, around 2-3% better than the ancient value Last fiddled with by firejuggler on 2022-01-22 at 23:32
