For new bases 419 and 421, I'm beginning work on all same-parity exponents > 48.
Suggestion for you, Ed: 39^99. This one popped up after you cracked it on the index 1 effort several days ago. Follow up by me brought it to 153/153 with no known factor at t45. If you decide to do it, feel free to terminate it since there likely won't be much left of it after the C153 is cracked. |

I'll run t50 against the c153 with my GPU today. I'm not sure if I'll slip the GNFS into my stream of base 103 work or not at this point. It wouldn't be until at least tomorrow anyway. My machines are not treating me well. I keep getting stalls in my ecmpi cluster that hang everything up until I notice and give it a kick.

419^49, 51, 53, 55, 57, 59, and 61 terminate
421^49, 51, 53, 55, 59, 61, and 63 terminate I'm still working on 419^63 and 421^57. I'm done with both exponent 65's. |

Talk about SLOW! Stage 1 took 16 hours and 20 minutes to do t52.385 on my GPU and stage 2 has ~2.5 of ~9 hours left to go on that machine. t50 was taking roughly 2-2.3 hours on my ecmpi cluster of far less nodes than the 1536 for the GPU. At least the GPU wasn't doing anything but idling otherwise, but that's not the case with the CPU stage 2 portion. I keep forgetting just how poorly GPU ECM runs, at least for me.

39^99 gave up fairly quick after the c153 = P57 * p97. Only a few more terms and a p93 termination.

421^57 terminates
419^63 is released. Full ECM on the C152. I'm done with new bases 419 and 421. Only 1 sequence remains on base 421. |

85^91 and 86^92 terminate
That was me on 86^92. I'm working on 52^92, 56^94, 113^79, 283^65, and 283^67. The total count of open same-parities was starting to creep back up there with all of the recent new bases so I figured I'd knock it back down again. Last fiddled with by gd_barnes on 2022-12-05 at 07:24 |

56^94, 113^79, and 283^67 terminate
I'm still working on the other two from the last post. |
