Unless someone can come up with a formula to allocate every unknown Mersenne Prime, but that won't happen until the exponent size reaches at least 10^28 which I don't believe it's possible in this decimal based reality. The reason: If World War III really happens in the future, the human kinds may have to start over all again. My prediction would be Dec 2036 between USA and Russia, I'll wait and see if it turns out to be true or close in the dates given all the news of all sorts of scenarios happening. I believe it's more important for someone to be able to find that hidden Mersenne Prime in the M1**,***,*** format before the time runs out than that person has to me or you. Maybe it is wise that your daddy doesn't let you spend money. Even after others have repeatedly explained to you how GIMPS and the PrimeNet server works, you still don't get it. Also, your fascination with an alternate base to do numerology in is another reason that someone might not trust you with money.

Another reason is that will I still be running PRPs by summer 2022? Time will give the answer on whether my father thinks the spending will be worth it or not. All of my finished PRPs have been recorded and dated on Mersenne.org, so print them down for a later review won't be hard. Last fiddled with by tuckerkao on 2021-04-13 at 21:33 |
