Default Sound card buffoonery

How do you re-install a sound card you uninstalled because you're an impulsive idiot who doesn't think before he does stuff?

(for those who don't speak English as a first language, I'm talking about myself, I'm the impulsive idiot)

Hm... I don't know, I never uninstalled a card from that reason, so I don't know how you install it back in that case. (I, however, did other things from that reason). How about you try re-installing it back in the same way you would do if it was uninstalled from a logical necessity?

I've no idea what your OS is, or what to do with newer versions of Windows, but for older Windows, you would go to the Control Panel and Choose Add New Hardware...

You do it just the same way as if you were not one. (the part after the word "because" doesn't appear to provide any useful information about the symptoms. And I do mean computer symptoms.)

If you physically uninstalled it, power-off, plug back in, restart, else simply visit "Add New Hardware" (or "Device manager" or similar) if the OS won't do it for you.
