This, of course, makes the columns "GHd/d / W" etc. a bit useless since there, the calculated value is taken from TDP (full power) and base clock, but it doesn't quite work that way. If I force my card to run at the base frequency of 1365 MHz, it only takes about 65 watts, not the full 160W TDP rating. But as you can see, running it faster does ruin efficiency, so if electricity costs matter, slowing the card down will help more than one might expect. |

BTW, does anyone know how to use Intel iGPU for Xorg stuff and Nvidia to be dedicated to CUDA only, in Ubuntu? I searched the net, and all solutions require reinstalling Nvidia drivers with some custom option (GL stuff to be excluded, etc.). I don't want to do all of that. |
