I've looked through the forums and docs, and I am fairly certain I have everything configured correctly. First, I'll ask the most obvious question: "Does the version 30.8 build 15 version of mprime still support CERT work?"
If yes, I can't seem to figure out why my client no longer even attempts to get CERT work. I have the following in local.txt: CertWork=1 CertDailyCPULimit=50 CertMinExponent=2 CertMaxExponent=13218487 Yes, I know that is a small Max exponent, but even when there are none available, I used to see entries in the communications log making a request, finding none telling me no cert work is available, and then continuing on its merry P-1 way. I do NOT have MaxExponents defined, nor do I have DaysOfWork defined. I've tried adding both of those with high values, and it didn't make any difference. So either I'm missing something pretty obvious, or it could be my client version doesn't support it. |

The maxexponent setting is your issue. The low limit PRP-CF work seems to be slowing way down right now. I was getting 10-20 CERTS a day from those, in the last day I've done 2, most of my CERT work has gone back to FTC certs.
Edit: I just reread your post. While low limit CERT work has slowed way down, I can't explain why you aren't seeing any attempts to get it. I'm also not running 30.8b15 Last fiddled with by slandrum on 2022-06-30 at 21:17 |

Have you tried increasing CertMaxExponent ?
Because my PRP CF worker is almost at 13.3M, so the PRP CF wavefront is past your 13218487, and the only CERT needed would be for PRP CF run on any exponent < 13218487 with a new found factor. |

Here is something interesting I found when messing around with this today...when I run the following command in my terminal: Code:
./mprime -m However, when I run my normal start up command: Code:
./mprime -d >> output.txt & It certainly used to, which is why I wonder if its the client. |

Maybe you should post this question in the sticky "Prime95 30.8 ....." thread in the Software forum, in case this thread is not noticed.
