I first collected all "worthy of deeper P-1" exponents early this year.
I re-collected the data today. I'm looking at exponents < 20M. Unfortunately I cannot say exactly how many exponents were adequately re-P1'd since then because my "worthy" determination method has gone through many, many variations. But I'm going to guess it's in the 30-40,000 exponents. I can say more accurately that 5,133 factors have been found; but again I cannot easily say how many were found via P-1, ECM or TF. Personally I cleared the 5.0M range; I processed 1,957 exponents and found exactly 100 P-1 factors. I am almost finished 1.2M and am working on 0.2M; both should finish in June. Based on my counts the following Million ranges are complete: 3.6M, 3.8M, 5.0M, 8.1M, 11.9M, 14.0M Many more are close to complete but at the same time many ranges required nearly all exponents to be re-P1-d. Again the "reservations" are recorded in Post #1. Thanks all. Last fiddled with by petrw1 on 2022-06-02 at 05:57 |

For now, I would like to free the 7.8M range and take 300k-325k. I might take up 7.8M at a later point again, but for now the reservation can be considered dropped.

4.0M is about 15% complete with 14 factors found. 4.2M is about 67% complete with 102 factors found. I am probably going to shut down most of my computers for the summer so my progress will suffer for the next few months. |

I've already completed 5.0M.
I've booked 5.1M and 5.2M. If all goes as planned and if no one else wants a part of it I will continue all the way to 5.9M. |

I forgot to mention that on the TF cleanup front all exponents above 39.2M are now at 73+ bits.
Effort continues to lower that bound. Thanks |

I noticed today that user harlee, who has 8.0 reserved, has made several P-1 reservations in 8.8 which is assigned to me. What's going on?

Please mark 3.8M as complete.
All 3.8M sub-ranges are now below 200 un-factored exponents with 7 factors found by TF and 57 factors found by Pminus1. There are still a lot of exponents that are B1=15M, B2=750M if someone else is interested in running through them some day but I am moving on to a different range. Due to the summer weather, I am down to running three computers and might turn off one or two more to decrease the heat load on the AC. I am going to try to alternate one computer back and forth between 4.0M and 4.2M just to keep making some progress. When the weather cools down, if no one has claimed any more of the 4M range, I will start working my way up from 4.0M and 4.2M to see how much of the 4M range I can complete. |
