If you want to post the rest of the Drive's pairs, I'll take the whole thing to 100K and thus finish this drive. It should only take me ~ 20 days. Last fiddled with by MyDogBuster on 20081227 at 09:46

OK, I'll post the rest of the drive in one BIG file sometime late Sunday. Keep in mind that the testing time at n=100K is double that at n=70K. You have large enough resources that even if you hadn't considered that, I'm sure it won't make much difference. I already have a fully sieved file from KEP for k=100M200M for n=25K100K for this base. So within a few days after you reserve the "BIG" file, I'll start "Minidrive II Sierp base 3". For this next minidrive, I'm going to run it differently. We'll be searching by kvalue but within larger nranges and the files will be sorted by kvalue. For instance, the first file might contain k=100M120M for n=25K40K, the next k=120M140M for n=25K40K, etc. for the rest of n=25K40K. Then we might do the same with 5 different kranges for n=40K55K, 55K65K, etc. This will make these drives much easier to administer. I also think that with the files sorted by k, individuals will find it easier to come up with scripts to stop processing after a k finds a prime and start with the next k. So not only will it save administrative time, it should save CPU time also. Gary

Oh, VERY funny he says sarcastically with egg on his face as he bangs his head. Yes, I totally forgot to send you the file and you nailed it on the head: I was busy deleting primes posts at NPLB and didn't check any except 12 threads at CRUS last night. Look for the file in your Email in the next 10 mins. and I'll show you with the reservation shortly. Sorry about that. Thanks for the offer to finish things up with this drive! It'll allow us to get the next minidrive started in the next few days. It can run while you're still working on this one. Gary

To make it official:
Ian is reserving the final range of n=65K100K for this drive. Ian, if you can post primes and status every n=5K or 10K as you are progressing with the range, that would help me/Max greatly. I've found it very easy to get way behind quickly here so any time stuff is broken up, it helps. Thanks again. Gary
