how long would it take on average for one of these to be completed? I have an xp2500+ oc'ed to xp3200+ speeds and 512 megs of ram with about 400 megs decidated to prime95.

Put one of them in your worktodo.ini and run it for a few minutes and then ask Prime95 for a status report...
A 3GHz P4 with 2GB of RAM can do one of these in about an hour... |

oops i guess i must have missed that. is it ok if i keep the first 50 or should i just pick up a smaller set from the other thread?
ive got another question. Ive dedicated 330 megs of memory for prime95 and when it does p-1 its only using about 120megs. its running with b1=55000. Is there some special threshold on memory so that it'll pick a higher b1? |

ok,
I'll claim the remainder. I have a 2.8GHz P4 with HT enabled. On one virtual processor I have a 20M LL and the other is doing the P-1 factoring of the above. According to status they should be completed by Thursday arvo local time (about 36hrs from this post).
