Stale CPU Info
On my Windows-XP machine Prime95-25.7 is stuck in an infinite loop.
When sending a result to server the response is pnErrorResult=32 pnErrorDetail=Stale CPU data - first send uc CPU update: ecae22174672a77a80a351fce5f3001a The the Communication thread window shows PrimeNet error 32: Stale cpu info Stale CPU data - first send uc CPU update: ecae227174572a77a88a351fce5f3001a Updating computer information on server URL: http://v5.mersenne.org/v5server/?v=0...bf32949c8ab&wg RESPONSE: pnErrorResult=0 pnErrorDetail=SUCCESS g=d0ad438b8a55383c078e808836847ac7 u=rstryk un=GreyOwl cn=Tamlin od=1 ==END== Then the pattern repeats until the retry count is exceeded. The Worker thread is stopped. The Worker thread tries again in 60 minutes. How can this cycle be ended and useful work resumed? |

Not quite a solution.
Prime95-25.8 worked for a few hours and then Microsoft terminated it for doing an illegal operation. What else can be done?

The crash is an independent problem. Is the problem repeatable? Does your machine pass a torture test for several hours? Are you overclocking?
