Fundamentally, you can't.
First, you need to be made aware that you see only a small portion of the programs required (primarily, the siever). In addition, there are a number of other programs which are required to process the sieving results and derive the factorization. NFSNet uses a suite of programs that were developed by CWI. They have been kind enough to license the use of those programs, including the siever, to us, but only for use in the NFSNet effort. A number of other processing suites have been developed. Each suite has its own advantages and disadvantages, and they tend to be "optimized" for the particular characteristics of a particular research group. Versions of the Franke siever are publicly available. Perhaps you can find something useful there. |

There is a suite of programs out there called GGNFS which you can try: http://sourceforge.net/projects/ggnfs/
It takes some getting used to and by no means a turnkey operation! But with reading the tutorials you should be on your way. A great resource is the GGNFS Yahoo group: http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/ggnfs/ If you have a question it might have already been answered there or they probably can answer it if its not already there. good luck! |
