I benchmarked a new Core i7-2520M laptop yesterday, but the data never appeared in any of the three entries for that CPU. It didn't show up under the benchmarks I've submitted, either. I'm using the 64-bit Windows build of Prime95 27.7, by the way. Anyone know what's going on?
Edit: Never mind, I figured it out. The Core i7-2520M has a nominal clock speed of 2.5 GHz, but Turbo Boost bumps it up to 3.0 GHz when only one core is used. Prime95 submits the data for the single-thread case, which PrimeNet saw as coming from an overclocked processor. Last fiddled with by ixfd64 on 2012-07-06 at 16:57 |
