I have dramatic problems with CudaLucas1.2 since the update to Linux kernel 2.6.35.32-generic (Current Nvidia driver 290.10, 64-bit)! I start CL with a LL test and then after a few minutes the operating system crashes and there are no more entries with the mouse / keyboard possible.
Even worse is, that the Ext-4 file system is such destroyed, that the only rescue is there with fsck.EXT4 but only with considerable patience and a little luck it can repair it. Too bad, it s......... Any Ideas? Last fiddled with by moebius on 2012-02-20 at 00:40 |

Perhaps move this to the GPU forum where more people look.
FWIW, I can't help specifically, but on 11.04 I can't upgrade nVidia drivers past 'nvidia-current' = 270.x . My only suggestion would be 'apt-get install [--reinstall] nvidia-current' to revert, and try it then. But like I said, I haven't been able to upgrade drivers since then, so be careful. (At least that's better than borking the filesystem.) |
