How to know if you found a mersenne prime.

I currently have 15 computers right now. How do I know if one of them found a prime?

The forum (by which I mean ATH) is very good at finding out very quickly when a prime report is made to the server. (All of the recent ones have been false alarms.)

Also you'll receive an email regarding your find, if you registered and provided an email address.

Another superstar in this field is lycorn. He discovered the success report for what turned out to be M42643801 (not a false alarm!) a couple of months after the original LL test had been completed, unnoticed at the time.
