Ahh, the mysterious M is now known. Not a James Bond character after all :)

Well ...

These have been found already by non other than .... (wait for it) ...:

Robert himself! Including 1946 other gaps over 128372. The gaps Robert found between August 12th 2019 and January 1st 2020 are missing from Seth's database is my impression. Maybe you can add those gaps as well, Robert?

You send those in two text files to me earlier, so if you do not have access to them any longer, I can send them back.

Kind regards
Michiel

Hmmm, that's interesting. I found two files I sent you, Aug-Nov 2019, and Dec 2019. I sent these to you on 10-1-2020. The December 2019 file appears to have already been processed, as there are no new records coming from it. The Aug to Nov 2019 file is currently being processed, and it is clear that there are some unposted records from that - mainly 61 very large gaps in the range 200k- to 500k and 35 out of 792 smaller gaps in the range 3k to 30k.

In neither set can I find gaps in the 100k to 200k range. So the mystery deepens.

I also discovered that my July 2019 file with 884 records in the 200k to 500k range were also not posted, and I have now submitted them.

I'm doing a search of my computer results for the string "128372" and I can't find it. Maybe this result was yours, Michiel!

2020-10-03, 14:31 #159 MJansen   Jan 2018 2×19 Posts Hi Robert, Indeed it does get weirder: I did a comparison on my databasefiles and this is what it showed: Gap MaxOcc Rating Discoverer Disc_Year Merit6 Digits Start 128372 C?P RobSmith 2019 13.230832 4214 33335*9791#/46410 - 54566 128714 C?P RobSmith 2019 13.268283 4214 6661*9791#/46410 - 32400 129538 C?P RobSmith 2019 13.364858 4210 14023*9787#/46410 - 59538 ... The divider 46410 is one you use regularly, and I do not make gaps up ... So strange indeed! I will try and PM you the complete list later. I changed computers so I do not have easy access to our earlier correspondence, but I will try and see if I can come up with the source of those gaps. I posted those, and it turns out that only the records that improved had been previously upgraded, and not the records of new gaps. These are now posted, along with many other records I found in the tail end of 2019 not previously picked up. Some 2000+ records are now in the queue and I an see that they will take a long time to go through the checks.

Thank you for pointing all of this out. All those CPUs deserved a reward!

Hmmm, the 2000+ have left the queue! I wonder what happened to them?

Looking at the logs it seems the server restarts at midnight (PST) and loses anything in the queue. I'm going to start logging all submitted records so I can occasionally verify they were all successfully submitted as the server continues to break in new and fun ways.

Does this mean I need to submit those 2000+ records again? Or do you have them somewhere?

In the future you shouldn't need to but that's always an optimistic process.
