Smile Cayley table intro

Hi everybody (math and computer group of people and others :--)

I was paid to do group theory for a time. I am an ex school teacher. and Veteran.

I hope you enjoy this typing (for your edification) .

See attach.

for TLDD j(Too Long Didn't Download)
try to stay with me.
Imagine a square piece of cardboard painted white on one side and black on the other one. Now this
square piece is cornered between two walls, and its corners are numbered 1,2,3, and 4. We are not
allowed to turn the square piece over, but we can touch it. After we touch it, we must replace the cardboard
back to its corner. A little though will reveal that there are 4 possible replacements for this noun.
(either 1,2,3, or 4 can be in the corner, but nothing else.

I have juste explained to you the concept of a cyclic group with 4 elements.
Here is a theorem about a cyclic group with p elements, where p is a prime number. This group will have p-1 exements. And I am sure of this. I don't remember the name of the theorem.

Wikipedia, Google and OIES.org are great references.
see oeis.or/A10 for 'Euler's phi function' It involves pair wise prime numbers .

I should stop now, I am thirsty.
Stat thirsty my friends.
Regards,
Matthew

Have a nice day
