Any help would be useful. Even a single modern PC can run through a good number in a day. Once this is done, then the current workforce will easily be able to pick up any ones that didn't get done by v30.

I added a second machine to my effort. Both can run about 18 a day. This may not be fast to some, but it is better than zero. Monitor's off, I can check their progress in my Primenet account.

Even on a slow machine like mine doing 8-9 per day is worth the fun. Let’s finish this quickly shall we? Lol

When v30 came out, I disabled its ability to run certifications, or "certs," as they are called here, by setting all the related configurations to zero. From what I gather, there is never a great many to run and others don't mind running them.

This reminds me of something I read when v30 was released for testing. It was in George's startup thread. One member, and I don't remember who, disliked the idea of running certifications. He wrote, "This is not what I signed up for." I was more than a little bit tempted to reply with something negative, but I didn't. Others had replied so I left it alone.

If I remember correctly that comments was towards PRP-CF certifications specifically not normal PRP certification, because the whole PRP-CF effort is a side project and not part of the main GIMPS project.
I can understand that viewpoint but those PRP-CF certs takes only like 30 sec on a moderately fast computer, so maybe a few minutes at most on a slow computer.

A weekly update today or tomorrow would be great, no pressure, this is just a fun project. I am away from the machine that I have been using to track the data until Tuesday. A missed week or splitting across the 25th and the 1st will be fine.

There is no pressure, I'm glad that I almost never have to feel pressure, neither in my job, nor here in the forum; we have plenty of free time during the holidays, so I'll try to post normally. The online thing hindering would be that I simply forget which day of the week it is.

Currently, in the range from 9M to 11M, there are 1,524 PRP-CF-DCs assigned. In total, there are 33,032 exponents to go.

That means, we have a progress of around 446 exponents per day, so ETA with our current speed is around 74 days.

Yesterday, a machine with 16 workers of mine all doing PRP-CF-DC broke down and spontaneously decided to ignore two of its memory channels. It used to finish around 50 assignments per day, so that's a huge cut of over 10 % in our project. I'll be tinkering with this a bit, maybe I'll be able to revamp it with fewer memory modules.

This time and next time, the numbers will be a bit off since this week's update is delayed and I won't bother calculating more exact numbers.

That means, we have a progress of around 503 exponents per day, so ETA with our current speed is around 59 days.

Edit: For those, who were concerned (certainly LOTS of people!), my machine which I mentioned in the last post is up and running for about five to six days now again, but with fewer memory modules (two instead of eight), but these two are clocked a bit faster now (3,200 MHz instead of 2,800 MHz). I had to reduce the amount of workers to 8 instead of 16. In total, it is still considerably slower than before (further decreasing of the worker count was not helpful), but it will serve this project well until its completion, I hope. GEC did not find any problems so far, so at least the current settings seem to be stable.

Thank you for your updates, much appreciated. Regarding your machine, how many threads per worker and if you can share your cpu specs would be awesome.
