And no I dont mean a man of the army!
![]() Here is a fundamental question I pose to 15k. How many tests are required by using the best 15k, to find a prime, with an n the size of 756839. Using RMA, we need to test about 12000 candidates! (after proper sieving) Blocks will be available for LLR testing next weekend 2/15/04, for M32, and M33 765839 & 859433 respectively. ![]() Last fiddled with by Val on 2004-02-08 at 17:54 Reason: not completely described |

Version 1.0 is available next week 2/25/04 !
![]() It is available for manual use only, but it will soon be fully automated. It combines an easy to use interface, with our favorite programs Newpgen/LLR/PRP. The complete version will be full automated, between appropriate softwares, depending on their productivity. Namely their speed at elimating candidates from the orginal file. ![]() ![]() Shane F. ![]() ![]() Version 1.4 is available for anyone interested,... Unfortunately it weighs in at a whoping 7.33 Mb. I would prefer you obtain a hardcopy from me anyway, by emailing me your name address zip, to divineprime1@netzero.com Free Tshirts available at request. ![]() It is well worth it, because sieving and tesing is only one step away. Oh yea 15k fixed k, and fixed n is now supported. The argument for fixed n, that have many dense or prolifirous 15k, is still uninvestigated. This was one of the original intentions of study. ![]() Last fiddled with by TTn on 2004-03-12 at 01:29 |

Thanks Luigi!
Looks like mark wants to help too. ![]() I should have been a little more coordinated about this. I have 216091 file sieved, here http://groups.yahoo.com/group/primenumbers/files/RMA/ The others are sieved up to 150 trillion or so, but are still split across several machines. I'll get back to you on these. thanks again Shane f. Last fiddled with by TTn on 2004-03-13 at 19:01 |
