Moved the discussion about scoring results and primes to a thread by that name.

Max,

Can you process the results for k=1200-1500 for this drive when you get a chance?

...tryin' to get the house in order before we get the 8th drive restarted.

Thanks,
Gary

Actually, I tried to do 1200-1400 yesterday...but it turns out that there were a few stragglers that, though they weren't in knpairs.txt any longer, still had been returned *that day*, and thus hadn't yet been copied off to http://nplb.ironbits.net/results/. (Yeah, I know I could have used the "today's results" link, but in this case I figured it would be easier just to wait until the next day when they'd have been copied off normally.)

Anyway, I should be able to do those results sometime today.

LLRnet IB9000 has completed k=1200-1600, n=50K-200K; results emailed to Gary.

All primes have been posted up to k=1600 for n=50K-200K.

The primes in David's prime.txt were confirmed against the primes in the results. No problems. All of the primes that had been found prior to this drive were confirmed by us.

I am currently double-checking all primes for k=1200-1600 right now. It should be done in a few hours.

1024 new primes out of a total of 1131 primes (90.5%) have now been found with this drive.

Rolling!

Reserving k=1400-1500 for n=200K-350K for port 9000.

As stated in the "range for k>300 that Peter Benson has searched" thread, we will only be searching the smaller range of k=1400-2000 for n=200K-350K.

Manual files are available upon request. Just let us know how many k's you would like directly above the most recent range reserved. k/n pair counts can be provided if needed. All files are sorted by k then n.

Let's keep right on rolling.

I have changed the lowest 9 of our k=1125 primes from "new" to "confirmed". I also corrected the % of new primes. In coming up with the list for previoiusly found primes that I show in the 1st post here, I used the Rieselprime.org pages at the beginning of the drive because the primes are all currently non-top-5000. I incorrectly assumed that Karsten had already entered all former top-5000 primes for the range. Bad assumption...the range is so huge that he was still working on it. Correct me if I'm wrong there Karsten.

It was too time-consuming to check all k's for recently added former top-5000 primes but I did spot-check a large group of them for changes since the beginning of the drive with only k=1125 coming up different.

k=1125 is a super heavy-weight with 13 former top-5000 primes in the n=50K-200K range plus 9 more new primes found by us for an amazing 22 primes in that range! Nice job of filling those holes folks.

A quick review of Karsten's nicely designed 7th drive page here shows that for the limit of k that he has completed on the page, k=1679, the 2nd place k=1365 is a distant 2nd place with 14 primes in the range. k=1125 is a true monster for the range of k=1005-1679!

Karsten, if you add any more former top-5000 primes to your pages for k=1005-2000/n=50K-200K such that it would change our primes from new to confirmed before this drive ends, please let me know and I'll correct things again in the 1st post here.

Thanks,
Gary

All primes have been posted up to k=1800 for n=50K-200K.

The primes in David's prime.txt were confirmed against the primes in the results. There was one duplicate prime found. See details in the LLRnet servers thread. All of the primes that had been found prior to this drive were confirmed by us so nothing came up missing.

I am currently double-checking all primes for k=1600-1800 right now. It should be done later today. I'll only post a follow-up if there are any problems.

For k=1600-1800, there were only 3 previously known primes in this n-range. With a total of 421 primes found, no less than 99.3% were new primes!

This brings the total to 1433 new primes out of a total of 1552 primes (92.3%) that have now been found with this drive.

Max or Ian,

Please process the results for this drive for k=1800-2000 and n=50K-200K to me when you have a chance. n=50K-200K has now been fully processed by the server.

Just to let you know, I'll be gone from Thurs. to Weds. on a business trip.
