How can i get Prime95 to not release exponents? I have this P4 based machine that takes over nearly expired exponents for my userID, however i can't keep it from unreserving exponents. If Prime95 feels that it has more than 90 days of work on its hands, then it will release exponents until it is under 90 days. Is there some kind of command i can add the Local.ini to keep it from doing this?

Yes:
Add UnreserveDays=120 to your prime.ini (not local.ini) to make Prime95 keep 120 days worth of exponents before unreserving, instead of the default. Use with caution though... maybe others would complete those assignments before you would, so be sure you have a valid reason to grab that many exponents at once. |

true, however about 70% of the work this machine does is orphan work and i usually feed them in 10-15 exponent chucks.
I have already tried the above. It works, however the computer will grab exponents in order to say at the "90" day quota. I don't want it to grab exponents, but i do want it to report back to the Prime.net Server. |

DaysOfWork=N will keep at least N days of work reserved. UnreserveDays=N will allow up to N days of work before unreserving anything, but won't cause anything to be reserved. I know this works, I use it. DaysOfWork=5 UnreserveDays=120 means you can reserve 120 days of work, and then it just works on those exponents and won't grab any new exponents until only 5 days of work are left. To grab 120 days of work in the first place, you could temporarily set DaysOfWork=120 and communicate with the server, before reducing it back down to 5... or you could manually add orphanage exponents, or whatever. |

You could also try
NoMoreWork=1 to prevent Prime95 from grabbing any more exponents. |

I confirm the functionality - I use a similar setting on all my machines. Indeed, I rarely ask primenet for work these days... orphanage rocks ...
