RTX 2080 with recent drivers. I got it to run, somewhat. There was very little GPU utilization. I will take a look at the page you mention above.

Many thanks.

I cannot find any references to what needs to be ran, so I will just run the below using pgfw as something to do:

Quote:
 ABC2 $a^$b+$b^$a a: from 3 to 999 b: from 3 to 999
It should last a few hours.

You have mtsieve + OpenPFGW, can I request you to build the list of generalized repunit primes?

Code:
ABC2 ($a^$b-1)/($a-1) ABC2 ($a^$b+1)/($a+1)
a: from 2 to 2048
b: primes from 3 to 1000000

Why are you asking someone else to do something that you can do easily?

mtsieve is an archive with 27 binaries inside. There must be an error here somewhere.

She's asking me to do it because I have a grasp how to do it. I have no problem with the ask.

Running the first sequence. I put it on a Xeon which sits a lot. This will take some time. When someone asks me to do something, I feel bound to do it, regardless of how long it will take.

All I wanted to do is participate, even at a low level. All this would be much easier if individuals would be more forthcoming and not act as a tight little circle where no one can enter. e.g. "The good ole boys club." A person is in or on the far side of the moon.

Nothing Sweety requests should bind you in any way- they know how to do the work, they just don't like to do it. Asking others to do simple work for pet projects is one of the many things that has Sweety receiving bans on occasion around here.

Hi Sweety-pie.

How are you getting on with the agreement we came to? You do ECM work for me under Windows in return for me working on you primality proving.

Reason I ask is that I have not yet seen any connections from you to my ECMNET server.

I don't mind doing the work. It's just going to take a really long time. I am using OpenPFGW exclusively. A reference made to mtsieve makes no sense. It is an archive. If they were trying to point to something inside the archive, then it should have mentioned.

Yes. The first half-dozen pages, or so, are always helpful and I look at them closely. I went quite a way beyond that. More current information is in the last few pages. Many of the links I looked at as well. IMHO, a great deal of prior knowledge is assumed when it should not be. Not just in this particular topic either. I struggled like this with Riesel as well, but after much criticism, I found my way. I will here too, as well.

None of the programs sieve that specific form. Last fiddled with by rogue on 2022-07-01 at 14:35
