computer id missing in Primenet account report

Hi,

My user id is onesoul and I have been running Prime95 24h/day since 2003.
I have created a team and have more computers assigned to my team but my main computer with computer id "strider" doesn't show up in primenet account report. I hope it is still being credited.

And also I checked Prime.log and verified the following lines:
"Sending expected completion date for M35333797: Feb 14 2007
ERROR 17: Operation not permitted on this exponent."

I don't know what is happening since I let Prime95 work all the time.

Perhaps one of your ini files was corrupted at one stage or another ?

I found al that data in the status.txt file on the primenet home page.

If you do not want to lose your work, I would e-mail George Woltman (I think) to have that exponent assigned as a double check. You can find his mail address on the GIMPS site : "woltman (a) alum.mit.edu"

Thanks for your advice but there seems to be lack of support by primenet administrators, no one is answering my mails or private messages.

You know credit and computer time lost is of relative importance... George Woltman may have other things to do. I do not know who else can access the PrimeNet server to add your assignment as a doublecheck.

You still have to options : go on with 35333797 and submit the final result by mail as a "voluntary"double check or cut your loses and start a new exponent by removing the line from your worktodo.ini.

(A) Now that your problem is documented here on the forum, someone will track it down eventually. We have several very detail-oriented active participants who will pick it up (I'm d-o, but this isn't my area of expertise).

(B) George Woltman has a good record of responding to e-mails about GIMPS problems (though it's not his "real-world" job), but AFAIK e-mail you send to the PrimeNet addresses goes to someone else (Scott Kurowski?), at least at first, who also is a part-time volunteer.
