A special attention too to Lionel Debroux who develop the small Sievers detailed stats page from RSALS.
Missing: Jon Becker, (there's more, I'll have to extract from the list of results all its unique users, not now) Last fiddled with by pinhodecarlos on 2022-11-09 at 07:23 |

Quick favour, if you could not download any jobs for post-processing in the next 24 hours, that will help a lot reducing the server load whilst a few thousands of Wu's are uploaded. Thank you, much appreciated. Greg, forgot to tell you to keep an eye on the pending stuck wus.
Edit 11 AM GMT : Wu's reporting underway. Last fiddled with by pinhodecarlos on 2022-11-18 at 11:02 |

Greg asked me to inquire your opinion on having a combined view of all NFS@home queues like I have hacked together for myself here. Of course there are improvements possible, like scrolling a bit automatically to skip the preface of each site.

Mostly all the times I login I use my mobile so when I look now at that condensed view it is weird, just due to the size of my mobile screen. Any improvements are always welcome, thank you.

This past autumn, after many weeks of searching, HP2 4496:i314 got a record setting deg 5 polynomial. It likely still needs a bit of tweaking before sieving as well as a platform on which to do the work.
I am all for tasking 16e_small with this job, as the big siever will likely be busy for the foreseeable future. But if there’s a consensus that a G-208 is simply too much for 16e_small, perhaps we can organize a group effort? I’m willing to contribute. Thoughts? |

The ideal solution would be for some NFS@Home users switch from the big siever to 16e-small, but in the absence of any means of accomplishing this, I don't like the idea of the 16e-small queue being blocked for that long. I'm busy with Cunningham extension numbers for the foreseeable so probably won't take part in any team effort. |

I have two thoughts here:
1. Let's see how long the GNFS-203 takes on f-small. This job would be double that length. If the 203 is on the order of a month, it's not crazy to try to do 30-40% of this job on CADO and the rest on f-small. However, I'm booked for at least a season. I can host the CADO job with the usual "Machine", but no more than half of CPU power is available before April. 2. Let's see how my smaller mfb's on 13_940 affect relations needed. If I'm right and the smaller mfb's mean 10% fewer relations are required, we could try this 208 as 34LP with such reduced mfb's and maybe only need 1.6-1.7G raw relations. For me, these are a couple of small reasons to wait until Spring to consider this job. |
