Back from a short hiatus...

Hi all,

Some of you may have noticed that I've been missing from this forum since Monday. On Monday I came down with a big nasty virus, and for the next few days wasn't able to think clearly enough to do much of anything on the computer. On top of that, some tweaks were being made to my house's network infrastructure at the same time. So, long story short...I was essentially incapacitated for the last three days.

I've now just caught up with all the new posts in the NPLB forum, and it seems that a few problems have cropped up in my absence, specifically regarding results from IB8000 and G4000/G8000. I had thought that both of those were closed cases prior to my coming down with a cold, thus I didn't worry too much that they would turn into a nightmare very quickly. (Though, I must admit, I was sufficiently incapacitated that even if I was aware of the issues I probably couldn't have done anything about them until now, anyway. )

I noticed that you guys postponed the rally until sometime in March--thanks, guys, that takes a big load off my mind.

Anyway, I'm sufficiently well enough to once again actively participate in this project and hopefully no further issues have resulted from my absence.

Thanks! Yeah, it's getting better by the day, slowly but surely--as of now I'm doing a lot of coughing and nose-blowing, but it seems like it will be on the way out within a few days.
