Default Kevin Rafferty

Kevin Rafferty was a filmmaker who made the "mockumentary" "The Atomic Cafe" .
It was a darkly humorous movie in the vein of "Doctor Strangelove" that was composed of archival news, newsreels, and propaganda concerning atomic warfare such as advice to "Duck and Cover" if you see an atomic bomb explode.

The film is on youtube:

An example of the kind of propaganda films see the 10 minute classic "The House in the Middle" which shows 3 tiny houses which get blasted by one of the tests in the desert Southwest. Since the house in the middle is properly maintained, it survives the atomic blast. So, keep your house in order to survive nuclear war !

It is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGJcwaUWNZg

An IRL friend of mine has worked with him and others of the staff on other shows for 2 different cable channels. He had nothing but nice things to say about him.
