Cool GM(1203793) is GM37

Attached is part 1 of the result file. So far I was looking mainly for GMs and I have started filling the gaps for GQs in the same range (between GM36 and GM37).

Cruelty,

Nice work, as you checked all candidates between GM36 and your new GM. And on the way you found that huge PRP!

Curtis,
It's Gaussian Mersenne Norm, see an introduction and top-20 here.
Actually it's top-12 because others have less than 1000 digits.

Cruelty,
Can you mail your result to prof. Caldwell, and cc Jean Penne and B. Iskra who found GM-36 if you know his address. I can tell your first two if you don't have them.
BTW, do you plan to go further?

I've just sent them results.
Thanks for a hint
BTW: I've just noticed that "part1" file should be named "part2" and vice versa

As for going further... first I will fill the gaps for GQ in the same range and then maybe I will restart from where I left (hopefully I will have Core2 Quad CPU by that time ). It's a pity though that this search is not coordinated anywhere

Attached is a suplement containing results of GQ-only search from 991987<n<1203791 (input file has been prefactored to 50 bits based on gmfcandidates.zip).
Right now I will not be testing any higher, as IMO LLR tends to "overfactor" each candidate, e.g. 58 bits @ ~1200000 and 61 bits @ ~3000000 (I have observed that it is faster to run proth-test instead of factoring over 56 bits). Unfortunately there is no factor-override switch in current release of LLR... I have already some ranges prefactored to 56 bits for n>1203799, but right now LLR does not even resume factoring from 56 bits...
Jean, I would really appreciate a factor-override-switch in LLR
