I searched for strings of digits of Pi in the latest Mersenne prime.
I can find up to 6 the first 6 digits of Pi in this particular prime. |

there is a string of six zeros in the number also, so I'd wager almost any six digit number will be in there... I bet a mathematician could explain this better...

By Ramsey's theorem, if you pick a arbitarily large "random" number, then you can expent almost all digital string to turn out in their decimal expansions.
