Does anyone know of a good app that lets you re-categorize Kindle books into different sections? I don't need anything visually fancy, I just something more customizable than the 3 basic categories the Kindle app offers.
And if I get to add notes to the different categories, than that would be truly awesome. |

The Android version is even more horrible than the Iphone version.
I know there are programmers on here reading this. Even if you don't personally program for Android, perhaps you have connections to someone who does? I badly need a bookshelf app, and I'm sure that there are literally a million people who would appreciate one. Make a half-assed one that will allow me to make folders and transfer books to them and I will gladly pay $20-$30 for the privilege. I can't even delete the damn books after I download them, so things will get more and more unwieldy as time goes on. It's freaking insane how bad the app is. Thank God Almighty, I found a way to delete data. But I'd still rather have a bookshelf app.
Edit: Spoke too soon, it'll delete acount data too. This makes no frickin sense, shouldn't the Kindle people want people to enjoy the reading experience and buy many, many books? The way it is, the more books you buy, the less pleasurable the experience is. Last fiddled with by jasong on 2012-06-27 at 10:26 |

Okay, it was non-obvious, but if you keep your finger on the name of a book stored on the tablet, then you get an option to delete the file. So I can prevent things from getting too unwieldy, unless of course I want to find a particular book in the main list.

On touch-only interactive devices, the typical way of bringing up an "options" menu, analogous to right clicking, is to press and hold the object. It's a pretty standard method.
It's the same on iPhones and Androids, that's for sure. |
