Hey James, we just found out that in the PRP/LL table, the bars under the numbers in FP64 column are not correlated with the numbers. The other columns and the other table seem to be right, only this column is odd.

I would like to suggest an update to the Factoring Beyond First Factor web page. When selecting PM1 worktdo assigments, the number of tests saved is always set to 2. Could you add an option to allow the user to select the number of tests saved (should match what Prime95 would accept). Requesting this change as v30.9 and V30.10 now allows PFactor assignments with known factors. Just thinking ahead about the next new official release.

Thank you for the change. Been thinking about another change. On the Exponents that were poorly P-1 factored page, what do you think about adding an option to find and display exponents with one or more known factors AND has P-1 results (exclude no P-1 work)? I'm thinking about looking to bring some smaller exponents with low P-1 B1 bounds to higher B1 bounds. A couple of examples:
M2507339 M2700281 M4000153 I can find some of these exponents by using the Factoring Beyond First Factor page but believe using Exponents that were poorly P-1 factored page would be better, easier, and faster. Last fiddled with by harlee on 2023-01-22 at 23:25 |

That's not quite so easily done. I'll consider the problem, see if I can come up with a workable solution.

Thought of another option but I've worked with computers long enough to know ideas are easy, programming the computer to do what you want is the hard part. Anyway, on the Factoring Beyond First Factor page, what about adding another field called something like "maximum B1 bound (optional)". When a value is entered in this field, everything works the same except only those exponents where the B1 bound is equal to or less then what is entered in the new field are displayed and exclude any exponents without any P1 results. Maybe if a B1 value is entered then by default the "Filter by P-1 status' must be something other then No P-1.
