There are two exponents that will soon expire that I would like to extend manually using http://mersenne.org/ips/manualtests.html. Unfortunately, it asks me to copy and paste from the worktodo file. I can't access the computer itself, and hence I don't know exactly what the worktodo file says, character for character.
What should I do? |

Check your team status report. It will tell you the exponent, work type (double-check, first time test, or factoring), and a bit-depth. The line of code that would appear in worktodo.ini that you need to copy/paste is either
Test=exponent,bitdepth,1 DoubleCheck=exponent,bitdepth,1 Factoring=exponent, bitdepth The ,1 for the first time test and double check is just to indicate that it's had P-1 factoring completed on it (and might not even be necessary). |

I did this and, strangely enough, Primenet assigned to my account 2 new exponents, which are not listed as being assigned to any computers...
