The page Woodall prime 512 misses three n-values: 2, 6, 25, since in this wiki, generalized Cullen/Woodall primes n*b^n +/- 1 with n<b-1 should also be included.

Now I search the Williams primes (of all 8 kinds) to n=5000 (now done to base 45) and create a website for the data, I will search to at least base 150 (I aim to search to base 1024)

I haven't been here in years. I'm surprised my log-in still works. All my results is gone, it seems. No matter. I feel like I was ran-out for asking too many questions or not understanding things everyone else thought I should.

Even though I am not actively participating at this time, I still look at the Wiki. A small line at the bottom of each page states when they were last updated. Many say mid 2021. If this is accurate, then how is a person to know who is working on what?

In a Wiki you can't reserve a page for editing. You edit a page and save the changes immediately. You only can reserve for example a Riesel k-value in this Wiki for a workload you want to do. A 'normal' page is free for editing by any registered user without a reservation. And for your last post: none of your work is lost, there's only a problem with some pages according to a PHP update. I've tried to figure out the issue but it's not doable without a MediaWiki software update (but this could cause other problems with used extensions, that's why I've not changed anything yet). So to find your results look here. |

![]() The reason I asked was the gaps in some of the tables. Going to factordb, I did not see any gaps in the same area I was looking at in the Wiki. It appears many may be submitting their work there. I find factordb a bit hard to navigate, but then, I have not spent much time there. I was surprised to find that I had registered to be a member. I do not remember doing so. In any case, I much prefer sieving over running LLR. It is too slow. The author has stated that as well. Basically, I was looking for some sieve work to do. I have a system sitting idle and shut down. |

Which tables you refer to?
The Wiki is a resource to collect primes for some forms, FactorDB collects any type of number and their factorizations, so you can't compare both the same, there're different purposes of collecting. I've deleted the template to display your reservations, because there're none currently. Now you can visit you Person page again without error (have in mind to clear your browser cache if needed). The Wiki user is the same as here. |

I am not concerned about my past efforts. All of that is water long passed under the bridge. I wish you good luck with all this in the future. |

Edit: Those pages are very out-of-date. http://www.prothsearch.com/ is up-to-date for k < 1200, while PrimeGrid is searching all Proth k's < 10k. Last fiddled with by Happy5214 on 2023-01-06 at 16:19 Reason: Pages out-of-date |

Thank you for the links. It seems like there are almost too many sites collecting data. Many, as you wrote, are out-of-date. |
