I just got done putting together a new rig with a 3090, and I would like to contribute again! Currently tearing up some mfaktc at 6000+ Ghz-d/day, but it'd be nice to be able to do some polynomial searching as well (at least until WSL2 lets us use CUDA without joining the Insider program). I can build msieve for Windows x64 using MSVC with CUDA 11.3 and MPIR (for skylake_avx) if that is of any use. I am sure there is somewhere I could put it for download. I could build with different assembler support if necessary.

Alternatively the build is available in the MSIEVE SVN repository which is at "http://svn.code.sf.net/p/msieve/code/trunk/"

It would be fantastic if you could. Long ago, I built msieve in Windows, but I would need to compile all the additional stuff (MPIR, etc) again before I could do it on my new computer. Ultimately, I probably will, but it would be nice to have an exe to use in the meantime. Thank you for your kind offer to do so.

Here is a link to a binary in ZIP format

There must be a high chance that this will fail for you as I don't know what assembler code you need for your system. So all I have done is to upload the version I use on my Intel I9 (Coffee Lake) system (i.e. with skylake_avx assembler code).

It looks like it's missing the stage1_core_smXX.ptx file. Could you build one for sm_86? Thank you!

Also, in case it makes a difference, my CPU is an i9-10850K. Thank you again for your help.

Another try:

I think the above version is not set for your 3090, try this one (NOTE: following link edited at 17.29)

Weird, it's still throwing this error:
Code:
error (line 1116): CUDA_ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND
Which version of CUDA was it compiled with?

I didn't know 11.4 is out - I will update to 11.4 and repost the binary (it will take me a couple of hours).
