I would find the switch to stop at a percentage useful as well. Currently I just set the intermfile switch to a couple hundred thousand bellow the exponent.
Another feature I would like to see for LMH would be a switch when using the factoroverride to process one bit depth at a time through the whole worktodo removing factors and just adjusting the current bit depth to the worktodo.ini. |

What I would like see is the following (and should be a series of small 30 minute jobs too)
1. If the client generates an error while processing, ERROR.P95 is created with the same information about the error that gets appended to RESULTS.TXT. RESULTS.TXT still get appended as normal. Basically, the last error generated is in ERROR.P95. If ERROR.P95 already exists, it gets overwritten. 2. The last iteration data gets written to STATUS.P95, and only the last iteration, at the rate that it gets displayed on the screen. Similar to the option that writes this info to RESULTS.TXT except that, again, just the last iteration is involved. If STATUS.P95 already exists, it gets overwritten. 3. If the client is running then a file called ACTIVE.P95 is created with dat/time stamp information in it. This timestamp gets updated along with the iteration data. If the client shuts down normally, file is deleted. 4. Every time iteration data is written to the screen, check for existence of SHUTDOWN.P95 file in app directory. If it exists, delete file and shutdown the client. Can anyone guess where this is going? ![]() |

I'd like to be able to control the Prime95 client from the command line: pausing and resuming, stopping, etc (under Win 98SE, where I can't use <net stop>). :)

Prime95 has that nice control panel it uses under Windoze (specifically including 98se) already - or are you wanting to be able to control it from a .BAT file or some such?

Yes, I meant from a .BAT file (or from command line - that's equal).

Would it be possible to add the option to have the cumulative CPU hrs spent on each exponent written to the results.txt file along with which FFT size was used?
