Default Time to complete information

Can a feature be added to Prime95 that will tell you how long trial factoring and P-1 testing will be expected to last?

The best I've been able to do is wait a few minutes for the program to give me some data and pulling out a calculator to extrapolate from there.

The estimated end dates for Trial-Factoring (in case that no factor is found) and LL-Testing/DCing can be looked up in the Status-dialog (under Test -> Status). I'm not sure about P-1-Testing via Pminus1=... entry in worktodo.ini, but this is easily tried out.

The thing is that the expected end date under Test-->Status increases with the amount of time that the trial factoring has run. It doesn't add the total time that trial factoring would run assuming it does not find a factor. The same goes for P-1 testing.

Hmm... I think this is because of a discrepancy between the "Hours per day this program will run:" value under "Options" -> "CPU..." and your actual up-time. You can change this value accordingly to get a better approximation. On the long run, this value is multiplied by a factor between 1/1.000 and 4 depending on your average up-time since its last change to give presumably better predictions.
