Considering we play black, wouldn't the thread title be vice-versed?
Batalov?

We are not strict. Just don't go staring at a chess engine's thinking lines and using it for analysis. Playing a game against a chess engine counts the same as playing a game against anyone.

When a move is ready, post it here and please PM me with it -- I cannot (will not) visit the three threads all the time. No time for love, Dr. Jones!

I think I will decide to leave this game because people are being too lazy, very much slow
in making with even the trivial moves.

Let's cancel with this sluggish game, and then replace it by using a round-robin tournament instead,
whereby each game, everytime finishes off within 2 hours or so, 8 player, 28 games league match,
maybe.

Somewhere online (where?) - appropriate place please? People will be faster enough in making
with the moves itself.

I expressed my own interest to play, assuming the games will be played faster enough, it will
be a league match, rather.
But if all the moves will rather take forever, then how long should I need to check away, monitor
with this following game, regularly enough?

Round robin tournament, decide the colours please.

Raman, according to the 1 week/move rule if they don't move by 6:33 pm tomorrow UTC they lose on time/move constraints. also even at one day /move you would still likely have a 80 day match on average.

Patience, please.

The move has in fact just been finally determined and as soon as our team captain notifies Serge about it you will know what it is. Sometimes it takes time for the democracy of our voting system to work its course, but I can assure you we are a very enthusiastic team and we are taking the game just as seriously as you are.

Should a team which takes more than one week for one of its moves (which, I can assure you, we are not doing in this case) actually lose on time there and then? Seems unnecessarily harsh to me. I would suggest some appropriate protests and warnings would be in order to any team which makes a habit of failing to comply with the one week rule, rather than instant termination of the game on first offence. What do others think about this?

Personally I think after 7 days Batalov should go into the subforum and find the move that it seems like people want the most(if there are a few pick a random one). This shouldn't happen very often.
This move was delayed because someone was away for several days. He also expected to be back quite a bit earlier than he actually did. In general moves seem to be made about every 3 days.

How about he picks a random one regardless of consensus?
