See undoc.txt. The stage 0 limit is now configurable.

P-1 save files produced by this version will not be readable by earlier prime95/mprime versions.

This is the first prime95 built with MSVC 2019. There could be issues. Let me know.

I try on two machines , Windows10 cannot even start it :(
Also take latest MSVC 2019 update , no change

Am I understanding correctly that without any settings, by default, stage 0 limit is B1 <= 40M, but if we want higher (or lower?), we can just set it there?

Same for me here, Windows 10, 64 bit. The process is visible for a second or two in task manager and then vanishes.

Runs fine on linux!

I tried MaxStage0Prime=100000000 and no problems occured:

P-1 on M1277 with B1=100000000
[Work thread Jun 8 10:34] Using AVX FFT length 64
...
[Work thread Jun 8 10:35] M1277 stage 1 complete. 214971348 transforms. Time: 53.581 sec.
[Work thread Jun 8 10:35] Stage 1 GCD complete. Time: 0.007 sec.
[Work thread Jun 8 10:35] M1277 completed P-1, B1=100000000, Wh8: 0BFBC20E

(Just for the sake of testing.)

@pepi37: It also runs fine on Windows when using the Linux version on WSL. Nice workaround for the moment.

Has anyone done any benchmarks running bare Windows version vs. Linux version in WSL?
