I've started to bring up all seqs in 195k-250k to 110 digits (I've announced it somewhere here in the forum). 219282 was one of the last in this range, because it was quite "intensive". I left it at i1945 (100digits) in the evening and it was done in the next morning, by me and you.
But anyway, another one down!
To avoid double work: I will continue with the seqs. 250k-300k, <110 digits. 195k-250k is done.

PS: There are only 4860 seqs below 110 digits below 1M (mean size:106.2).
Right now 50 to 70 seqs are passing the 110 digits limit daily!

At that rate it'll be less than 3 months till everything's up to 110 - will we need another 110 digits subproject or do you want to do all the work?
10k-50k to 120 digits isn't looking far off now

It seems like that it won't take 3 month, due to the huge progress (now 4828 seqs. <110 digits, < 1M)
I have not planned to do all <110 <1M seqs. But I'm not sure, wether another 110 digits subproject is suitable or not. In most cases there are only few terms to do.
I would join 10k-50k to 120 digits, after I could get to run GNFS on my unix machine.

That was in the main reservation thread, but I didn't pay enough attention to think of putting in such a reservation.

Mods, do we need to do something like that or should we just start a "mega project" thread to reserve wide swaths of numbers for intensive work?

I guess we could mark that as a major milestone....

A nice wide swath of work by anyone's standards....

Do you not run it because you haven't needed it or because you can't get it running?

I guess this is because of Ben's workers that are factoring all the lowest composites. This has the side-effect of pushing sequences up towards 110.

This thread definitely isn't needed (under its current title, at least) as 200k-250k is done already by RobertS and he is now continuing to 300k. As taking sequences to 110 digits clearly isn't what it used to be, I think we coordinate the remaining effort in the ranges and status thread. Then when Subproject #9 runs out of sequences we can start the 120 digits effort (10k-50k, or perhaps 10k-100k?) for Subproject #10.

Oh, come on; what fits the spirit of the forum better than an entire thread devoted to a project that is almost done (and by one person at that!)?

An entire thread devoted to a project that has already been done by only one person, I think.

We could keep the thread, as long as we change the title...
Edit: done.

Ben is not the only one who run workers to factor all the lowest composites!
My worker have also pushed the limit of the Database - thousends composites the last weeks.
And we don`t know how much people run also DB-Helpers.
So this work is from different Persons. And all Project benefit on that.
