This is a reservation thread for those of you who're more interested in doing a variable range of n instead of a fixed range. I've split the range into two parts: one for k=1-100K, and one for k=100K-10M. This is because most of the time savings for LLR testing are in the k=1-100K range.
Range reservations, k<100,000: Code:
Username Range Status Primes found Oddball 480000-480014 complete 0 Oddball 480015-480050 complete 0 mdettweiler 480051-480070 complete 0 PRPnet 480071-480200 complete 0 LLRnet 480201-480219 complete 0 PRPnet 480220-480300 complete 0 PRPnet 480301-480500 complete 2 PRPnet 480501-480999 complete 4 PRPnet 481000-481500 complete 4 PRPnet 481501-482000 complete 4 PRPnet 482001-483000 complete 8 PRPnet 483001-483999 complete 1 LLRnet 484000-484899 complete 7 LLRnet 484900-484999 complete 1 LLRnet 485000-486000 complete 6 LLRnet 486001-486300 complete 1 LLRnet 486301-487000 complete 6 LLRnet 487001-487100 complete 1 PRPnet 487101-489000 complete 13 PRPnet 489001-489999 complete 4 LLRnet 490000-490149 complete 1 PRPNet 490150-495000 complete 29 PRPNet 495000-499994 in progress ? n=480000-480014 complete, no primes found, results attached.
n=480015 and up will be done with the newer sieved file. |

Having now returned from my vacation, I think I'll take a whack at some LLRing before returning to the variable-n sieve. Reserving n=480051-480070.

n=480051-480070 done, no primes (twin or otherwise). Results attached.
Now heading back to the variable-n sieve to get this range closer to optimal depth before doing more LLR. ![]() |

We'll soon add more options for participating in TPS. Before, manual reservations were the only way of doing LLR work, but by the middle of the week, you'll also have the choice of using LLRnet and/or PRPnet. The stats will all be based on the number of k/n pairs tested.
Stay tuned for more details. Last fiddled with by Oddball on 2010-08-30 at 06:47 |

Reserving
Edit: Make that 480501-480999. The sieve file I've got only has up to 480999. Last fiddled with by mdettweiler on 2010-09-04 at 17:10 |

Gribozavr just sent me the latest sieve file (05 September 2010) for n=481K-485K. Reserving n=481000-481500 for PRPnet.

480071-480999 has been completed by LLRnet and PRPnet; the processed and sorted results for this range are available at http://www.noprimeleftbehind.net/max...480999.txt.bz2.
Oddball, are you saving these off on your end? In case you aren't, I uploaded these results to the noprimeleftbehind.net site instead of sendspace so the link will be permanent. The file was rather too big to attach here (~420 KB compressed). |

I'm saving them, but it'll be nice if you have a backup in case my hard drive crashes.
