Are you saying that xilman never signs as "Paul"?
And anyway, how did Doc S get into this? I was responding in a thread, the recent history of which was me, you, and xilman. Dr Sardonicus quoted my post.

You are playing games with subsequent quotes, thus changing the context.

Scientists Seek to Collect Ice Core Samples Before Glaciers and Ice Sheets Melt
| Yale Climate Connections

‘Canary in the coal mine’: Greenland ice has shrunk beyond return, study finds | Reuters -- That's a big canary. For anyone whose Transatlantic flight has taken them over the southern tip of Greenland, it's stunning to think of that utterly vast ice sheet stretching northward over 20 degrees of latitude melting away. Wikipedia:

"The Greenland ice sheet covers 1,755,637 km^2 (677,855 sq mi) (81%) and has a volume of approximately 2,850,000 km^3 (680,000 cu mi) ... If the Greenland ice sheet were to melt away completely, the world's sea level would rise by more than 7 m (23 ft)."

If that were to happen Barbados et al would be seriously fucked.

When do we start talking about reparations?

(And then talk about all the intractable equations and variables requests brought forward to make sure nothing was done?)

Seriously. Many are thinking about this. The theives will only get away with it for a little longer...

The fable of the scorpion and the frog comes to mind...
