Recently, Disney released a serie of animated short story in the star wars universe (9 different one).
They were animated by 7 different japanese studios.

Think of Animatrix.

One in particular, " The village bride" has a really good track.

I like. Strings are tricker than most realize. Mark Knopfler blows my mind.

I have reduced much entropy while listening to Jean Michel Jarre.

The name of this guy is Alexey Arkhipovskiy and he is Russian genius virtuoso of balalaika (there are only three strings).

In places, his balalika playing turns into a psychedelic chillout or new age, reminiscent of Jean Michel Jarre.
I really like it too. Thank you for you comment :)

I also recommend trying Madis :)
This is also very sweet music that sounds like Jean Michel Jarre.
There is a long intro. The real fun starts at 3:20. Enjoy!

I did. Thanks. MIDI is great fun. It allows lots of creativity with inputs (basically, real-time triggers in the temporal domain). Just one example of this kind of thing...

Laurie Anderson used it (and several other techniques) extensively for her Home of the Brave film from 1986.

I first watched this in a theater in Victoria, BC shortly after its initial release.

It blew my mind.

Picking up the pieces was worth the effort...

I really like the Oblivion movie. This is one of my top three favorites.
And I like the soundtrack to it, written by the brilliant guys M83.
Great shoegaze/ambient track from this movie.

Is there anyone here who shares my preference?
