I seem to recall asking this question before quite a long time ago, but I forgot the answer, so I'm asking again. Sorry.
Code:

I'd like to add that the asterisk can stay even after the trial factoring has finished. This is because the new client (since v 24.12?) doesn't factor as deep as the older ones, and the primenet server doesn't seem to know about this fact. An example of four of my exponents in first-time tests:
Code:
30883199 * 68 18965439 37.3 7.4 67.4 21-Oct-06 17:54 22-Sep-06 00:17 mu 3520 v19/v20 31017307 69 21059519 37.2 4.6 64.6 21-Oct-06 23:43 22-Sep-06 03:29 mu 3520 v19/v20 32251573 68 18658496 28.8 6.0 66.0 24-Oct-06 07:09 30-Sep-06 14:02 zeta 2572 v19/v20 35183101 F 68 19812288 25.1 11.4 71.4 25-Oct-06 17:00 04-Oct-06 06:36 eta 2399 v19/v20 |

To add to this question, what does the F in the same column mean? I thought it meant a prefactoring assignment, but I have a bunch of F's in my account report.

Yes, that's what I meant I thought it meant. I don't know if I've ever started any exponents with F's next to them, but I know for a fact I haven't ever requested factoring assignments. In fact in my worktodo.ini file they're all listed as LL tests.
