Guide to compiling YAFU

Since we're not getting new YAFU binaries, can someone post a guide to compiling it yourself? It's not my area of expertise and I seem to always fail on some dependency.

That's really helpful! But I'm going to say mea culpa, I should've specified I'm running linux (Ubuntu specifically).

You might look over this page:

Steps to install and set up Aliqueit on an Ubuntu* computer

It includes YAFU installation.

Note: I'm not sure where the most recent changes are now located, so you might want to use:

for the checkout source.

That's a good place to start. Or, the windows mingw guide is basically what needs to happen on linux as well, minus the first step since there is no need to emulate a linux environment (and use the normal makefile instead of Makefile.mingw).

https://sourceforge.net/p/yafu/code/HEAD/tree/trunk will get you the currently released version.

https://sourceforge.net/p/yafu/code/.../branches/wip/ will get you everything I've been updating/fixing since then.
