Personal Computer World Magazine to close (UK)

I have fond memories of this magazine and have read it sporadically since the early eighties. (Though, recently, it became a bit boring and I cancelled my sub a couple of weeks ago! I realized I was mostly buying it for the 'free' CD, which had become rubbish.)

Still sad though.

I subscribed for many years and still have several metres of back issues stacked away in the attic.

I may be able to arrange a fitting wake. Watch this space.

On the front cover of the August 2009 edition of PC Format, it says under the title, "I promise. I will never die"
