Same here. I check daily, so updates are applied when I tell it, rather than waiting until it is forced upon my computer. Never had a problem doing it this way.

I'm in both camps. The TCS hardly ever gets updates because it (apparently) works and has very little exposure to external threats. Retina's advice is very good in this situation.
Machines with which I access generic sites on the interweb tend to receive recommended security updates because I don't know ahead of time whether I will innocently blunder into a trap. |

Swmbo (has ashma) was hit with COVID-19. Still recovering and I've not slept well for the last 2 days either. I'm glad we are both vacinnated.

I am extremely careful where I go on the web. I have a list of trusted sites. If something tries to redirect to a site I am not familiar with, I don't go there. My current W10 setup has been running since early 2019 when I installed an NVMe. There are more than enough restrictions in v21H1. I am afraid v21H2 would be even more so. Hopefully, it won't try to force it on me.
