Look here: https://escatter11.fullerton.edu/nfs/server_status.php
How come no 16e small wus were completed last 24 hours? BTW, I’m getting one 16eV5 wus per day around 11:00 GMT, now I have two. So weird. Last fiddled with by pinhodecarlos on 2021-11-17 at 18:04 |

Another question. Under Boinc Formula they classify the project status and NFS@Home is as alpha when others are as “fully operational”. There’s a mix of older projects still as “alpha”. Was just wondering if this classification is pulled out directly from the project or manually done. I suppose the latter, if so I’ll try to see that changed.

Focusing my preparations around 15e and 15e_small, but running adequate ECM prior to the contest start is always the challenge. Cutting down on the amount of preliminary ECM is an option though I don’t love the idea. |

Bump. Just a reminder - please submit any NFS work you have for the upcoming BOINC challenge. We especially need 15e and 15e_small jobs. 16_small not so much but send ‘em if ya got ‘em.
They will start bunkering early next week. |

Unfortunately ryanp didn't specify how much ecm he did but some of the remaining numbers in https://mersenneforum.org/showpost.p...&postcount=958 are small enough. Judging by some of the factors he found enough ecm may have been done. Might be worth asking him how much was done. |

Jon and I have been working on the HCNs, we should have 1-2 composites for the upcoming challenge. But we will likely need 10-15 suitable composites on 15e_small and 15e to keep the contestants fed. There’s always Kamada’s site too. |

15 teams now on the list for this challenge. Have no idea what would be the daily output. My guess would be something like 30k wus per day on the small apps and 70-80k for the 16eV5 one

Just quick note, if for some reason you make a mistake on setting up the work just leave it, do not cancel the wus since clients will start bunkering. Thank you so much and Happy Something wherever you are in the world.

Will be adding a few more jobs to both 15e_small and 15e before the end of the year. Hoping we have enough work to sustain the challenge. We should - 16e_small has plenty of work in queue and of course Greg has a mountain of work available. Just a matter of WU flow rate. |
