Default prime95 on a dual boot system

My system runs Windows on some days and linux on others. I would like to continue testing the same exponent, no matter which operating system I boot. So, is there a way to configure prime95 on both windows and linux to take its initialization from (and store its results to) a directory that is available from both windows and linux?
Sometimes I don't boot one or the other system for a long time. So it might seem like I quit halfway, if both operating systems test their own exponents.
