Default New milestones finished

Missing from the list: http://www.mersenne.org/report_milestones/

January 11, 2011: All exponents below 21,000,000 double-checked.
December 25, 2010: All Mersenne numbers less than a ten million digits tested at least once.

According to the records that I have, that happened sometime before Oct-25-2010 and after Jul-07-2010.

It happened @ 07:54 UTC on 2010-07-11, when I finished the DC of M20425091, proving that M20996011 really is the 40th Mersenne prime.

The line to add to the Milestones page is:

July 11, 2010: All exponents under 21 million have been doublechecked.

Default Milestones Schmeilsteins

As I think I might have mentioned before, it's handy
to have a (singular) thread to monitor the "progress"
of these fascinating things.

There is some inevitabilty about their getting longer,
but the proliforation (go forth and multiply?) aspect
seems to be down to the likes of ......

My mistake. The "All exponents below..." just changed, and I thought the previous one was 20.7M, but it was 21.07M.
