You are right, the file is dated January 2, 2011, but I don't know how do you find out the limit, the value within the file, on the first line, is 1000000000 (1 bn) which is obviously just a placeholder, not updated.

You can check the limits in two places, here or here. The latter will give you the sieve progress on PrimeGrid for 4 < k < 10000 and n < 3M. When the last update was made I saw that Pmin was at 5P and Pmax was something like 10P. Now you can check that Pmin is 8P and Pmax is 14P.

When you extract the k's from the sieve file you sometimes get the header line as 1000000000 but sometimes a smaller number not corresponding to the sieve depth. I suppose this is due to the fact the the sieve is taking place without a sieve file.

Carlos emailed this to me a few days ago, and I have started it.

Also taking 1303-1306.

To everybody:
Please note that we have a small confussion now: the 1300-1321 reservation was cancelled but Curtis reserved 1321-1324 before that. In the meanwhile 1300-1306 were reserved by others.

Therefore, the files in the 1306-1321 range are still available.

Thanks.

1306-1321 and 1324-1330 complete, no primes.
The links to the 1342+ ranges look broken?
