We already have 5 drives on the go, two of which, the 8th and 9th drives, contain high weight k's. Kosmaj and I would appreciate your help with the 9th drive which currently contains 34 k's almost all of which have weights in the range 4300-5300. Although, as there are > 3000 candidates in each file, you need at least 2 fast cores to complete each file in a reasonable time.

Can you be more specific about what you want that our current drives do not offer? One thing working against a new drive anytime soon is that the cutoff for 5000th largest prime to get on the list is rising very rapidly- there is no point in searching below 500,000 presently, and the 9th drive is not far above 500k.

There is also a problem that too many drives leads to not enough work being done on the drives, wasting the sieve in a sense. Our group is not very large, and we don't want to spread ourselves too thin.

However, if you wish to search in the 500-550k range, I can help you set up your own sieve to search a few high weight k's on your own if you wish.
