Thanks for the heads up! I agree that we should send data to only one source.

BTW, I posted a lot of trials on 2 L,M that were not inserted into these
tables.

I recommend STRONGLY to people that they NOT do trials at the 35 digit level.

BTW, Peter Montgomery and CWI have done a lot of trials on base 12. You
might want to check with them as to their level of effort.

Thanks for your heads up too. I'll drop Peter and/or Herman an email.

M1786 has a factor: 1513038588606647037924377544619001786660891 It completes the factorisation of 2,893+.

Nicely done. This result illustrates that there are still factorizations that
can be found with only moderate effort within the base 2 Cunningham tables.

Let's push to finish 2- and 2+ to the 45 digit level (B1 = 11M).

Did you update the tables? If you did, can you delete the posts which you incorporated in the tables?

You might want to look for a few more people to update the tables, or would this mess up your local tables?

2005-04-13, 18:59 #8 garo     Aug 2002 Termonfeckin, IE 22×691 Posts I would love to get some more help on this. I did an internal update back in March but never got around to doing the final sanity check and posting on the forums. Partly because splitting my internal tables and posting on the forums - where the 2+ table as you can see is spread out over 10 posts, is very cumbersome and I've not really had a solid block of 2-3 hours to do this since March. But if someone wants to help me, they are most welcome.

If it would help to have someone to update the forum threads from data in another format, I could do that.

Hi,

2,760+ was finished at the 45 digit level.....You might want to check
George's pages. They have been recently updated.

I am about 93% done with sieving for 2,737+. I then plan to do 2,749+
and 2,791+.

NFSNET will do the (now C166!) of 2,751+. It would be nice to put some
effort into the 1st two holes, 2,719+ and 2,736+ at the 50 digit level....

Meanwhile, Bruce Dodson is making the rest of us look bad..... (OTOH I have
only 3 PCs)

2005-05-13, 21:50 #11 akruppa     "Nancy" Aug 2002 Alexandria 2,467 Posts Oh, right... I hadn't checked. They can still be counted as ~330 B1=44M, B2=4.29G curves, though. Yeah, it's hard to compete with 80 AMD64 boxes running an optimized GMP beta version... Alex
